Ben Rossen is Associate General Counsel for AI Policy & Regulation at OpenAI where he works closely with domestic and international regulators and drives forward initiatives on AI governance and safe, secure, and trustworthy AI systems.  An experienced consumer protection enforcer, Ben previously served at the Federal Trade Commission in the Division of Privacy and Identity Protection and as an advisor in the Bureau of Consumer Protection. In addition, Ben is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, and a former startup founder. He practiced litigation at several leading law firms and clerked in the Eastern District of New York.
