Joan Amble has substantial financial industry and board experience with expertise in finance, risk, operations, corporate culture, and corporate governance. Ms. Amble has worked at EY, FASB, GE, and American Express and served on FASAC (Advisory Board to FASB) and SAG (Advisory Board to PCAOB).

Ms. Amble currently serves on the Board of Zurich Insurance Group (Risk and Investment Committee and Governance, Nominations, and Sustainability Committee), Booz Allen Hamilton (Audit Committee), and Spire Global (Audit Committee). Since 2006, she has served on eight public company boards from diverse industries, including financial, technology, media, and consumer. She has also provided consulting services on corporate governance, corporate culture, and audit and risk committee excellence and is a frequent speaker on related board matters as well as women in leadership.

Ms. Amble’s passion is supporting women in business. She co-founded and is Chair Emeritus of W.O.M.E.N in America (www.womeninamerica.org), a 501(c)(3) leadership organization dedicated to helping high-potential women in business reach their highest potential.
